Description

Stewart Hartshorn Company color trade card for the spring shade roller. Young boy is tying woman's dress tp window shade as she talks to a suitor. Front of card notes: "Every genuine HARTSHORN SHADE ROLLER has name of manufacturer in script thus _(Stewart Hartshorn signature)_ on label. Don't be fooled!" and "Hartshorn's Rollers; made for SHADES of every size or weight; ALWAYS in ORDER" Back of card is printed: "H. BOOL, FURNITURE; Carpeting, Wall Paper, Window Shades; Pictures and Frames; Culver Block, Ithaca, N.Y." Ca. 1/4" long tear on top edge, near middle of card. Minor edge wear, light tide lines can be seen on back, bottom edges. Very light overall soiling.
