Originally known as the Community School, this private school was build by Stewart Hartshorn to serve his village. In later years, it was known as the Short Hills School (private) and the Short Hills Country Day School. Today this building is part of the Christ Church Education Center and is occupied by the Winston School, a private special needs school for grades 1-8.
