Photographs of second place winners of the costume contest in Taylor Park at the second annual Village Festival, sponsored by the Millburn Art Center on June 2 and 9, 1945. The photograph shows Van Ness Hough (left) and Bert Anderson dressed as butchers, holding a dachshund. The skit was a satire on the meat shortage. The picture was also featured in an article on the festival that appeared in the Newark Star Ledger (Sunday, June 3, 1945).Collection
