Description

The tall chimney in the background belonged to Miller's Paper Mill, which stood beside the river about opposite Church Street in what is now Taylor Park. The mill burned and was demolished long before this photo was taken. The stack remained a landmark for many years. Photograph by Edwin D. Pannell.
