A one page typed letter from Judge J. W. Wells, Ribbon, Ky to Mr O.J.Wohlgemuth, Walnut Creek, plus copies of the letters initially sent to Judge Wells. The stamped envelope is included.
Mr Wohlgemuth was working on compiling a biography of Robert Semple and was seeking information on Robert's early life before he 'came out west'.
The original letter was written to the County Clerk, Burkesville, Kentucky and given to Judge Wells, who was the local genealogist for that area and had compiled a book on his six years research.Collection
