Letter to O. J. Wohlgemuth, Walnut Creek from J.M. Goodyear, Winters, CA relaying some details of the last few years of Dr Semple's life and death plus details of the facts of a now legend on how Dr Semple crossed the Martinez straight.
Mr Wohlgemuth was contributing chapters to a four volume history of Free Masonry in California which was published in 1950. The volumes are available for reference in the Benicia Public Library.Collection
