Small folding black camera with leather bellows. Case is integral part of camera. (I didn't find a case with the camera, Bob K) Inside camera has a bellows, one strut, leather over the metal is peeling off, a Ball Bearing shutter/lens that isn't attached to bellows, several small screws and a piece of unknown metal. The manufacturer is Eastman Kodak but inscribed inside is " Eastman Kodak - successors to Rochester Optical Rochester NY USA 3521". The top strap may have a name on it but I can't make it out. George Eastman bought Rochester Optical in 1903 and changed it's name in 1907 to "Rochester Optical Division, EKC" and then "Rochester Optical Division" in 1917.
This was probably a "Premo" camera (the line was started by Rochester Optical ) made about 1916-1918. My guess would be the Filmplate Premo. This camera is only valuable because of the inscription. Oterwise it is only useful for parts.Collection
