Place Description

A historic Palestinian locality in the Bir Saba district associated with the Abu Ghalyun/Jarawin tribal lands of the Tarabin. The locality formed part of a broader agricultural and pastoral landscape in which tribal lands were cultivated where rainfall permitted, particularly for wheat and barley, while livestock raising and grazing remained important throughout the region. This village appears to be connected to Abu Ghalion in the Palestine Land Society Register.
