Place Description

A historic Palestinian locality in the Bir Saba district, associated with the tribal lands of the northern Naqab. The wider landscape combined areas suitable for seasonal rain-fed cultivation, particularly wheat and barley, with extensive grazing lands and livestock raising, although these regional agricultural patterns are not certain with the sources available at the time of this writing.
