A historic Palestinian village in the Baysan Valley, situated on a level plain that sloped gradually westward and overlooked the Jordan Valley to the east, with the tells of Shaykh al-Fatur and Shaykh Radgha bordering its northern and southern sides and the Baysan–Jericho highway passing nearby. Its agricultural landscape was dominated by grain and vegetables, with 709 dunums devoted to cereals in 1944/45 and the village's perennial crops cultivated across the level plain.Also Known As
