Place Description

A historic Palestinian village in the Baysan subdistrict, situated on a low ridge between Wadi al-Ashsha to the north and Wadi Jalud to the south, with the land descending toward Wadi Jalud and several springs and rainwater wells supplying the village. Its agricultural landscape was based on grain and vegetables, with cultivated fields extending west and north of the village and 9,894 dunums devoted to cereals and 16 dunums to irrigated or orchard land in 1944/45.
