Place Description

A historic Palestinian village in the Baysan subdistrict, situated at the western entrance to the Baysan plain on low ground near the Baysan–Haifa road, with the surrounding landscape opening toward the broad agricultural valley. Its lands supported extensive cereal cultivation and irrigated and plantation agriculture, forming part of the highly productive agricultural belt west of Baysan.
