Place Description

A historic Palestinian hamlet in the Baysan subdistrict, situated at the foot of the steep slope rising toward Kawkab al-Hawa, where numerous minor wadis descended through the site toward the Jordan Valley. The surrounding landscape supported grazing and limited cultivation, with the lower valley and nearby watercourses providing agricultural land while the steeper slopes were better suited to pasture and seasonal use.
