A historic Palestinian hamlet in the Baysan subdistrict, situated below Kawkab al-Hawa at the foot of the cliff on which the village stood, along the western edge of the Jordan Valley and approximately 3.3 km west of the Jordan River. The locality's agricultural landscape included orchards and cultivated valley land, while the hilly terrain surrounding the site supported grazing; an orchard occupies part of the former village lands today.
