Place Description

A historic Palestinian village in the Acre subdistrict, situated on the high ground along the western brow of a ridge in the mountainous western Galilee, approximately 2 km southeast of Khirbat Jiddin and within the network of villages extending between the Acre plain and the Upper Galilee. The village was surrounded by olive groves and a small amount of arable land, with brushwood covering much of the surrounding terrain, while springs and cisterns supplied water for the village and its agricultural landscape. This village is typically described in conjunction with Khirbat Jiddin.
