Description

A hard, plastic military helmet, which appears to be a World War II M1 helmet, that is covered in olive green fabric. There is loose yellow netting covering the surface of the helmet. Inside, there are fabric cross straps as well as leather straps. There is also a silver "H"-looking symbol on the front of the hat.

M1 helmets were primarily manufactured by McCord Radiator and Manufacturing Company in Detroit, Michigan, but were also manufactured by Schlueter Manufacturing of St. Louis, Missouri. This helmet does not have any distinguishing marks indicating a manufacturer, so it is difficult to know for sure who made it.
