A long, white printed batiste skirt and matching bodice, both decorated with black floral embroidery throughout. There are two layers of separate fabric near the bottom of the skirt, and the bottom of each layer is edged with brown lace, while there are ruffles at the top of each layer. There is also ruching/ruffles near the top of skirt. The skirt opens in the front, and closes with six silver hook-and-eye clasps. There is also brown lace trim along some vertical panels of fabric in the back of the skirt. The bodice is long sleeved, and each sleeve is edged at the bottom with brown lace, and has three ruffles that are also edged in brown lace. The bodice opens in the back, and closes with five large silver and five small gold hook-and-eye clasps. The upper portion of the back, neck, and collar area is made from a white linen fabric with eyelet detailing.
