Mr. J. Walter Crider, Los Gatos, Calif. Dear Sir: Referring further to the two monkeys, would advise that Mr. Buck, mentioned in our letter June 11, informed the writer that he is under contract to certain Zoo's and dealers whereby he is restricted in the purchase of monkeys and other animals from the Orient to those concerns exclusively. For this reason, he will be unable to accept a commission for the writer. BUT -----, he told us that possible slip-ups, one way or the other, might make it possible to give me a present when he returned. If anything turns up later will advise you promptly. Yours very truly, G.H. Corse Jr. [signature] GHC:M
