Description

Full mount taxidermied specimen of a male Ring Necked Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus). The underside is gold-red with black tips around the neck and the underside. The back is barred copper-red with a scalloped pattern. The neck and head is iridescent green and purple. The tail is long and thin, and is a green-gold with black horizontal barring. The beak and feet are a cream color. The specimen is standing with its wings closed and its head is turned to its right. Family: Phasianidae Genus: Phasianus Species: Phasianus colchicus
