Alice B. Caldwell pictures Forbes Mill - before 1916 Showing the South Pacific Coast Railroad bridge over the Los Gatos Creek. This bridge was used only by the narrow gauge trains up to 1909 from 1878. This spur track went south under the Main Street bridge to a rock quarry on the east side of the Los Gatos Creek about a 1/4 of a mile south of the mill, ice was also carried from the Los Gatos Ice Company which was part of the Los Gatos Manufacturing Company.
