Description

The top half of a dress, called a bodice. The bodice is black taffeta, with black embroidered lines serving as decoration throughout. The inside of the bodice is olive, with strips of boning and two olive-colored straps towards the bottom. The bodice has ruching on the front, and opens on the left side of the front, with hook-and-eye clasps to close it; there are also fabric eyes down the left side of the bodice for the outer layer of hooks. The shoulder/upper portion of the sleeves are slightly puffed, and have a small ruffle on the shoulder itself.
