The Los Gatos Store was operated by the Lyndon Family at this time. The 1863 first general store in Los Gatos built in 1863 on East Main Street, north side, west of Church Street. Built by the Los Gatos Manufacturing Company that took over the operation J.A. Forbes Santa Rosa Brand Flour Mill. Also a lumber yard to the east of it. This photo taken in 1891 before the great fire of July 26, 1891 destroyed the Town of Los Gatos along East Main St. The brick wall on the right is the 3 story 3 month old Arlington Hotel.
