Description

Square souvenir scarf from the Golden Gate International Exposition in 1939. Landmark buildings from the edge of the pattern, with the seal for the World's Fair in each corner. Above each seal is a "N," "S," "E," or "W" for the cardinal directions. In the middle of the scarf is a large star, with "Golden Gate International Worlds Fair Treasure Island San Francisco" surrounding the star. In between the star and the buildings are a ship, a car, a plane, and a train.
