Artist’s Intent Note

Note

Human fascination with fire takes in a new meaning in this period of intense climate change. This was an experimental print: I heated solvent and asphaltum on a zinc plate and then etched the flame-like form. Aquatint was added and etched and then light trails were burnished in to add subtle detail.
