Description

A black day dress, consisting of two parts: a skirt and a bodice. The skirt is long, with two bands of three black satin stripes near the bottom of the skirt, with a band of black lace above them. There is a band of black velvet along the inside of the hem. The bodice is also black. Both sleeves have black lace detailing along the cuffs, with white lace at the very edges; the chest and neckline also feature the black lace. There is black beaded detailing and beaded fringe on the front of the bodice, around the lace, as well as the upper portion of the back. The bodice opens in the front, and closes with eight hook-and-eye clasps near the bottom, as well as two near the neck. There is some boning inside the bodice as well.
