Description

A large, square embroidered Asian tapestry inside a free-standing wood frame. The main image in the center circle features a bearded man wearing a peach-colored robe and red-and-white hat, extending one of his hands towards a goat. Standing behind the man is another figure, without a beard, who is wearing a light blue robe and a red-and-white hat, and is holding what could either be a banner or a shade provider. There are flowers, trees, and grass surrounding the figures and the goat. Outside of the circle are embroidered flowers with grass and what appears to be a flying object, possibly an insect, with one of each on the left and right sides. There is a dark blue and white flowered border along the sides and bottom of the tapestry, which also bisects the tapestry above the main scene. Above that border is more embroidery depicting flowers, leaves, and insects.
