On the back of "The Space Age" is what appears to be a previous interpretive text. It reads "'History of America' Plaques / Depicting symbols from American history, formerly local artist Rudy Haynal made these plaques in 1986 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty. One of only 20 sets, others are owned by the American Embassy in Budapest, the Legion of Valor Museum in Fresno, and the Veterans Hospital in Palo Alto. Molded, then hand-hammered in copper, they include: The Settlers - discovery and colonization of America, Independence War - symbols of victory, The Civil War - and emancipation of slaves, Industrial Revolution - the birth of commerce, World War II - the beasts of war, Moon Walk - the space age / Test yourself on American History: How many symbols can you find in each plaque? What do they mean or stand for? Why do you think were they chosen to represent our history?"
