Sept 18th, 1873 J B Randall Dear Sir Yours ordering 5 {unintelligible} 111 {unintelligible} Short 2 {unintelligible} Middlings is at hand. We make so few Shorts in comparison to other feed made that it will take 5 weeks to fill your order for Shorts. Would it not answer {unintelligible} as well to say 6 {unintelligible} of Shorts + 6 {unintelligible} of Middlings or more Bran + fewer Middlings. We can send the Bran + Middlings next week and if {unintelligible} with the 10 {unintelligible} of Shorts as fast as we can make them after we fill an order now ahead for one item. We have extend your order as Recd - if you can make any modification of the Shorts portion of it, it will enable us to fill it sooner.
