Description

A samurai battle helmet, known as a kabuto. The iron helmet is domed and curved, and has a plain hook on the front, where a crest (usually an animal) would go. Attached around the back of the helmet is a neck guard, consisting of six tiers of metal with braided fabric. Attached to the front of the helmet is a metal face guard, or menpo, shaped like the face of a man, that has been painted red and has faux mustache and goatee hair. Attached below the face is an additional neck guard, that features four tiers of metal and braided fabric.
