G. A. Dennison of San Francisco is a guest of Frank Wiggins, secretary of the chamber of commerce. Mr. Dennison, who is secretary of the California World's Fair commission, having succeeded E.B. Willis to that position in June last, is on his way home to finish up the detail work of the commission. Commissioner Wiggins speaks of Mr. Dennison in the highest terms of praise for his efficient work during the exposition. In June Mr. Dennison gave up his position as secretary of the state board of trade to go to St. Louis. He has been a resident of the golden state for a period of ten years, and has many friends in Illinois who watch his progress in western state and commercial affairs with interest.
