A long, olive drab wool coat. The coat buttons up in the center, with four gold buttons with the United States Coat of Arms embossed on them. There are breast pockets and lower pockets on both sides of the coat, all of which close with a button-down flap, that also features gold buttons with the coat of arms. There is a Sergeant First Class insignia patch on each arm, consisting of a navy background and three gold triangles angling up and two lines at the bottom. On the right arm, above the SFC patch, is a patch for the 7th Army Division, featuring a red triangle inside of yellow stepped triangle, inside of a blue triangle. On the left arm, above the SFC patch, is a circle patch for the Army Ground Forces, featuring a blue stripe at the top, a white stripe in the middle, and a red stripe at the bottom. On the right lapel is a golden, circular pin featuring "U.S." for enlisted service members, and on the left lapel is a golden, circular pin featuring a castle for the Army Corp of Engineers. Above the left breast pocket are three service ribbons: the first is blue with white, black, and red stripes, for the American Campaign, the second is mostly green and brown with red, blue, and white stripes for the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign, and the third is red in the center with a variety of colored stripes at each end, for the World War II Victory.Collection
