Note found with doll says: Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls Chances are if you were a little girl in the 1930s or 1940s you had some Nancy Ann Storybook dolls. Created by Nancy Ann Abbott, the little dolls from 1936 through 1948 were painted bisque. From 1948 through the 1960s the dolls were made of plastic. The dolls are known for their lavish costumes in the very best fabrics and trims. They are still very collectible today. Loaned by Carla Bjork and the Los Gatos Historical Museum
