Description

The nine-acre Cousins Ranch was on Tennent property north of the present-day Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railroad. The land and home were sold to the C.H. Ellerhorst family. The house was remodeled in Spanish style. Frances Ellerhorst, beloved Pinole teacher and principal, was the last Ellerhorst to live in the home. She died in her late 90s in the 1970s. The home was purchased by the John McLeod family.
