The Alley Cafe: Not much changed at The Alley Café, including the food and the cook, until June 2015, when Cori Clark sold the restaurant. Cori fed generations of area residents, many of them who remember her fondly on Facebook. As one Facebook writer commented about the enormous portions of hash brown potatoes Cori serves: “She throws them down, oils them up, and fries the dickens out of them before they hit your plate piping hot!” Another wrote: “Where else is there only one cook for over 40 people?
