Description

The Faria House, 2100 San Pablo Avenue, Pinole. The Farias were one of the first farming families in Pinole. They moved here in 1893 and built this home, at 1235 Pinole Valley Road, in 1907. Joseph Dutra Faria and Maria Nunes Faria had 18 children, 11 who survived into adulthood. The home still stands, though it has been completely remodeled. The Faria House was relocated to Heritage Park in downtown Pinole in 2005, and is being preserved as a historical landmark.
