Forester's Hall and American Hotel. Forester's Hall (left) and the American Hotel were in the middle of the block on Tennent Avenue, between Main and Park streets. In 1903, Pinole citizens met at Forester’s Hall and voted 150 to 6 to incorporate. The hamlet of Pinole was now a city, population 665. Forester’s Hall was the social center of Pinole, with lodge meetings, dances, and stage plays but burned in 1908, and the Pinole Opera House was built soon after. In 1931, the opera house burned down. Anjee’s Dance, Etc., and a public parking lot occupy this space today. The Collins house is at the far right.Made/Created
