WOY HOME: Theodore and Mary Woy, and their daughter, Blanche, lived in this home at 2497
San Pablo Avenue in the early 20th century. The Woys owned the Pinole Bakery next door, which
featured the city’s first auto delivery service. After Mary Woy died, Clarence and Ruth Hall (Ruth
was the daughter of William and Nell Clark and grew up across the street at 2494 San Pablo
Avenue) bought the home. The Halls’s children, Don and Janet, inherited the home, which they
still own. It remains a private residence.Copyright
