Description

Clay figurine of human-like being. The mark making of this piece is bold and thick with patterns making up for face shapes. As it says in the title it's a Native American Object and it resembles much of that style. This figure has similar colors to its other pieces. This piece has marks that appear to be aging or possibly molding. The head matches the shape of the rest of its body. The back of the head and the back itself are mainly flat with slight curves making the figure look hunched over. The pieces of clay together do not appear to be scored together or blended together. The back appears to be one big panel with a thin molded head into the back. Squished as well, maybe intentionally for texture and appearance. The eyes, nose and mouth are rather small in comparison to its entire face and hat/hair. It sits not taking up much space. The figure wears a necklace and has hands at the bottom carrying a bowl maybe. The legs have toes attached to the feet.
