A pair of five-color silkscreen prints on off-white linen depicting early stringed musical instruments and fronds of green leaves. The composition is finished with a printed border in brown. This pair of prints is listed in the Spring 1958 Country Prints price list as Early Instruments 14/15 in flat black or natural frames. It is listed in the January 1960 Country Prints price list, and appears in the c.1960 brochure “Country Prints in Frames Designed by Robert Darr Wert” as Early Instruments 612-10 in antique birch or flat black frames; see images. This pair of prints appears in a Country Prints promotional photo, c.1959; see images.
