Description

1903 Canadian Militia Oliver Pattern waterbottle w/sling. The flat, cylindrically shaped waterbottle is made of blue enamel steel with a khaki wool stitched three-piece cover. The harness is a U-shaped three-piece leather with rivetted loops with a brass ring at the top. The adjustable shoulder strap (126 cm long x 1.5 cm wide) is made of brown leather and is sewn to a grey-green cotton canvas (5 cm x 31 cm) shoulder band. A tapered, cylindrical cork stopper sheet steel cap and ring (5.5 cm high x 2.5 diameter) is missing the string.
