1918 CEF Staff Officer's Service Dress Cap. Light khaki fineweave barathea wool, with twill cotton cover. Machine stitched construction. Soft wool peak, red felt cap band. Circular crown reinforced by a wire stiffener. Adjustable brown leather chinstrap secured on either side by brass "General Officers" buttons (1.6cm diameter). Cap badge is Colonel's insignia - bullion wire lion and edwardian crown embroidered over the red felt cap band. Handwritten at the back of the cap beneath the red band is "JBW J.B.Wilson."Made/Created
