1820-1839 British Army/Canadian Militia Officer's epaulet. "T" shaped sheet metal plate padded/covered with dark blue wool, edged with 1.8 cm. wide silver lace. At shoulder end is a brass crescent with dark blue wool padding inside arms of the crescent. One lace stripe joins the arms of the crescent. At the neck end of the epaulete is a hole for a button.Made/Created
