19th Century, North Union Shakers, Lee Road, Architecture, Boulevard NeighborhoodDescription
Undated sepia-toned black-and-white photograph of the North Union Shaker Meeting House (church) located along Lee Road. Handwritten caption on verso reads: "Meeting House, North Union, 120' long, 50' wide." Based on the building’s deteriorated condition, the photograph was probably taken in the 1890s after the North Union community had dissolved. The print was most likely made from a negative by Richard P. Tappenden for the Shaker Historical Society.Photograph Details
