Plate 707 from Shakers & Kirtland by Louis Baus showing the old home of Robert Drake on Fairmount Boulevard near Taylor Road. Printed from from glass plate negative 2024.3.11. Baus description: "The old R. Drake home on Fairmount Rd. east of Taylor Rd. was built in the early ‘20s [1820s] when the early pioneers were graduating from the log cabins. The old Shaker property adjoined this old farm, and previously this was the home of Mr. Howard."
