The water tower was originally built c.1905-1906 on the south side of North Woodland Road (now Fairmount Boulevard) opposite Kingston Road. It was part of the early water system serving the developing neighborhood, with water pressure and flow recorded in the nearby Hecker home at 3552 Fairmount Blvd. Just before World War I, the tower was dismantled and moved to a hill near Highland View Hospital in Warrensville Township.Acquisition
