c.1956 black-and-white photograph of businesses at the northwest corner of the Kinsman (now Chagrin) and Avalon intersection. Businesses pictured include (left to right) Avalon Cleaners, Murray's Fur Salon, Miller Drug Store, C. Bova & Son Food Market, and Budin's Delicatessen. The building was razed during the construction of Shaker Town Center in the early 1990s. Possibly a press photograph based on penciled crop marks on border. Photo is mounted on board and was originally taped to a mat, but the mat is detached and torn. Handwritten caption on mat reads "CORNER AVALON & KINSMAN."Photograph Details
