Program for the Shaker Heights Historical Pageant staged and costumed by the John B. Rogers Producing Company and presented by the residents of Shaker Heights on July 4, 1923. Part I of the pageant presented the history of American Indians, Moses Cleaveland, pioneers, the founding of Ceveland, and the North Union Shakers. Part II included a Masque of the Nations with Shaker residents representing various cultures and nationalities. Notable names mentioned include Shaker Players members Otto J. Kuenhold and Mr. and Mrs. William S. Cochran; early residents Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Jenks, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Gibbs, and Charles Palmer; and Wallace H. Cathcart, the first full-time director of Western Reserve Historical Society.
