Description

Plate 696 from Shakers & Kirtland by Louis Baus showing the southeast corner of the Warrensville Center-Kinsman (now Chagrin) intersection. Baus description: "At left of top photo. [Plate 696] facing Kinsman is the Wilson general store, the corner building contained the telephone exchange on the upper floor, while the lower was used as a confectionery store and post office. A few years ago these buildings were torn down. In the lower picture [Plate 697] the old town hall and later the K. P. Hall stands back of the corner."
