Undated Plate 82 from Shakers & Kirtland by Louis Baus showing a Maria Pilot of the North Union Shaker Village in a dress and bonnet. Baus description: "Maria Pilot entered the Society on October. 1858, and stayed untill [sic] 1889 when she transfered [sic] to Watervleit [Watervliet], O. when the colony here abandoned the place. She died ten years later April. 6-1898. "
