Description

Plate 691 from Shakers & Kirtland by Louis Baus showing the brick Warrensville High School, also known as the Warrensville Center High School, located on Kinsman Road (now Chagrin Boulevard) west of Warrensville Center Road, approximately where present-day Norwood meets Chagrin. School was built in 1882 to accommodate graduates of the eight other schools in the township. Baus description: "Warrensville High School stood on the south side of Kinsman Rd. between Warrensville Rd. and the present Norwood Rd. and almost north of Sussex School. When this section was allotted the old building was torn down."
